Evo PhonoDAC Two

Evo PhonoDAC Two

High performance Analog-to-Digital and Digital-to-Analog Converter with Phono capability

The Evo PhonoDAC Two is the missing link between analog and digital. It allows for digitizing analog music, send it to a computer and play it back later via its digital-to-analog converter. It includes a premium analog-to-digital converter, a versatile analog input with settable gain and input impedance, an async 2.0 USB connection, a digital processing block and a premium digital-to-analog converter.

Thanks to its equalizer block, digitized audio can be processed applying one out of several available phono curves and directly sent to the internal DAC, therefore acting as a first class MM/MC phono preamplifier.

The Evo PhonoDAC Two is also the perfect AD/DA interface to include a PC in the analog signal path of your hi-fi system (e.g. between the preamplifier and the power amplifier) to apply any real-time processing: digital room correction, equalization, crossover filtering…

Of course, its DAC section can be used as a normal digital-to-analog converter. Thanks to its premium Sabre DAC, the Evo PhonoDAC Two delivers crystal-clear sound from every source, be it a high resolution file from your computer, a CD read by your CD transport or an MP3 from your smartphone, rivaling much more expensive units.

Its extreme versatility allows users to push its performance to the highest peaks, in a step-by-step fashion. The SPDIF BNC input can used as an external clock input to connect the Evo Clock Two or every other clock generator.

Thanks to the remote control, the Evo PhonoDAC Two is the perfect preamplifier for desktop systems or for secondary systems in your bedroom or in your vacations home, particularly if you use it to drive active speakers or a compact power amplifier.

Evo DAC Two Plus works great together with…

Evo Clock Two

…to increase its sound quality by applying a high-precision clock which cleans up soundstage and unveils the finest details in the sound, at the same time giving the image pin-point precision.

Evo Supply Two

…to further increase its sound quality by a low-noise power supply.
