  • hiFace Evo Two

    Hi-End S/PDIF Output Interface

The hiFace Evo Two is a true Swiss Knife for its extreme versatility. Its USB device interface is USB 2.0 Audio Class compliant and supports ASIO under Windows and Integer Mode under OSX. It is supported natively under OSX and Linux. It can be powered by the USB bus or by an external power supply like the Evo Supply Two. Its comprehensive outputs set includes S/PDIF, AES/EBU, Toslink™, and I2S in PS Audio standard. Supported formats include PCM up to 384kHz (on I2S only, up to 192kHz on all other outputs) and DSD up to 256x (on I2S only). The external clock input accepts word clocks as well as master clocks, even asynchronous to the selected sampling rate. Sampling frequency information are sent out by an optical transmitter to the clock generator for automatic clock switching.
  • Evo Clock Two

The Evo Clock Two is a high precision Word Clock and Master Clock generator, which is perfectly tailored to the hiFace Evo Two, but which can work perfectly with many other equipment accepting a word clock. Its internal high stability and low phase noise TCXO’s are routed and divided by a highest precision clock conditioner generally used for digital data transmission over satellite links. Automatic frequency selection is performed when the Evo Clock Two is connected to the hiFace Evo Two by the dedicated optical link. Various clocks arrangements are available to accommodate PCM and DSD setups. A 10MHz master clock option can be selected to work with all those DAC’s which accept the standard 10MHz master clock A cute LCD display shows the selected sampling frequency. Manual frequency selection is done by two buttons. The new casework with the brushed aluminium front panel and the crowded but complete back panel gathering all connections make for a better integration with the listening room interior design.
  • Evo Supply Two

The Evo Supply Two is a very low noise 9V power supply dedicated to the Evo Two Series products. It is provided with three outputs which deliver clean current from a low noise, discrete components regulator. Outputs are switched with a rele operated by a button on the front panel. Overcurrent protection is included on each output. The very-low-noise regulator features the same basic design as the Van Der Graaf, ensuring a residual noise which rivals that of the best high current batteries, with the extra bonus of a very long trouble-free life.
  • Marley

    Headphones Amplifier

A lot of music lovers are used to headphones (often earphone) listening. Also, listening by headphones is a good way to enjoy music in places in which using speakers would be impossible, like in open air or in small homes with very thin walls. M2Tech is proud to introduce a new headphones amplifier, the Marley Dual-Drive Class-A, a compact unit with many interesting features. Marley allows for listening music by headphones, with better quality than before, even for audiophiles who are usually accustomed to listen to speakers as a mandatory setup to obtain the most realistic soundstage.
  • Young DSD

    Highest resolution DSD/DXD
    digital-to-analog converter

Async USB Audio Device Class 2 interface, S/PDIF, AES/EBU and optical inputs, balanced and single-ended (with stock adaptors) outputs, remote control, passive anti-alias filtering, unique current mode offset cancellation circuit, digitally controlled analog volume control, selectable maximum output voltage 2.5Vrms (SE) to 10Vrms (balanced), HID enabled
    FEATURES
The Young DSD is a very high resolution digital-to-analog converter with extremely high value-for-money, capable of handling PCM up to 384/32 and DSD up to x128. It features an USB Audio Device Class 2 interface to transfer high resolution audio from every computer. Legacy S/PDIF, AES/EBU and optical inputs are also provided which handle both PCM (up to 192/24) and DSD64. The Young DSD inherits the old Young’s proprietary oversampling scheme for PCM based on a FPGA (field programmable gate array). A 32 bits D/A integrated circuit is used in a non-conventional mode to allow for 705.6/768kHz internal operation in PCM and 5.6448MHz in DSD. The synergy between the DAC IC and the custom oversampler allows for exceptionally low noise floor and THD. A high resolution analog volume control IC with digital control is used. To avoid inserting too many stages on the signal path which would reduce the sound quality, a unique passive anti-alias filter is used in place of the usual opamp buffer, together with a special current mode offset cancellation circuit which makes I/V converter operate with greater symmetry and lower THD. Output voltage can be set by the user to suit the needs of any device downstream the Young DSD, be it a preamplifier, a high sensitivity solid state power amplifier or a low sensitivity tube power amplifier. Both balanced and single ended (using the stock adaptors) outputs are available. A full-loaded remote control allows user to easily operate the Young DSD from the sweet spot. HID protocol is also enabled over USB, allowing user to control the computer player with the dedicated keys on the remote control.
  • Van der Graaf
    Very low noise power supply
    DETAILS
Very low noise, discrete components regulators, selectable output voltage on some outputs, activation and shut-down programmable sequence, universal voltage input.
    FEATURES
Van der Graaf is a very high performance, very low noise power supply suitable to power all M2Tech products. Thanks to its comprehensive outputs set and the settable output voltage for some outputs, user can power every M2Tech product, from 9V Evo units to 15V products like Young DSD and Joplin ADC, to the high-power Marley. Its very low output noise (comparable to that of a Li-Ion battery), even at rated load, allows for incredibly silent sonic background and finest detail resolution, markedly improving every powered product's performance. Fault-proof robustness is achieved by solid-state, automatically resettable fuses (polyswitch). In order to optimize the powering sequence of the units connected to the Van der Graaf, the user can program the activation sequence of the used outputs.

  • Joplin-MK2

    384/32 A/D converter

Joplin MkII is a high performance A/D converter capable of handing up to 384kHz sampling rates and 32 bits resolution (USB output).
